Seller Agreement
Last updated: March 9, 2026
This Seller Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“Seller”) and Vocal Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“VocalPresets.com”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By submitting a seller application or listing any content on VocalPresets.com, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
To sell on VocalPresets.com, you must meet all of the following requirements at the time of application and at all times while your seller account is active:
- •You must be at least 18 years of age.
- •You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- •You must have a valid Stripe account (or be able to complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding) that is eligible to receive payouts in your country.
- •You must own, or hold all necessary rights and licenses to, the content you list for sale, including preset files, cover art, and audio demos.
- •You must not be prohibited from selling digital goods under the laws of your jurisdiction.
- •You must provide accurate and truthful information throughout the application process.
Sellers may join VocalPresets.com through one of two paths: (1) by submitting a seller application via the seller application form, subject to review and approval; or (2) by receiving a personal invite code from an existing approved seller and completing onboarding via that code. Both paths require acceptance of this Agreement and successful Stripe Connect onboarding.
Seller accounts are subject to approval. We reserve the right to reject applications at our discretion and without providing a reason. Invite codes do not guarantee approval — the platform reserves the right to decline any applicant regardless of how they were referred.
Revenue Share
VocalPresets.com operates on a revenue-sharing model. The platform fee is deducted at the point of sale. We do not charge listing fees, monthly fees, or any other fees beyond the revenue share described below.
Standard Rate
70 / 30
Seller keeps 70% · Platform fee 30%
Available to all approved sellers.
Founding Seller Rate
⭐80 / 20
Seller keeps 80% · Platform fee 20%
Permanent rate — first 10 approved sellers only.
Revenue share is calculated on the gross sale price paid by the Buyer (before any applicable tax). Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are separately deducted from the platform's share — Sellers receive their full percentage of the gross sale price.
Rate Adjustments
The standard commission rate shown above reflects the current default. VocalPresets.com reserves the right to modify the standard rate at any time. Active sellers will be notified by email at least 30 days before any rate change takes effect. Individual seller rates may also be adjusted on a per-account basis at VocalPresets.com's discretion — for example, as part of a promotional arrangement or volume-based agreement. Any individually agreed rate will be communicated to the Seller in writing. The Founding Seller rate (80/20) is exempt from standard rate changes and remains permanent as described above.
Invite Slots
Approved sellers receive a fixed number of invite slots, which allow them to personally invite other creators to the platform:
- •Founding Sellers — 5 invite slots
- •Standard Sellers — 3 invite slots
Invite codes are personal and non-transferable. Each invite code expires after 90 days if unused. Invite slots are fixed and do not increase over time. VocalPresets.com reserves the right to adjust invite slot allocations at any time with notice to affected sellers.
Founding Seller Network Commission
⭐Founding Sellers earn a 5% lifetime commission on the net platform fee collected from sales made by sellers they personally referred via their invite code. This commission:
- •Is calculated on the platform's share of each sale (not the gross sale price or the referred seller's earnings).
- •Applies for the lifetime of the referred seller's active account.
- •Is paid out on the same weekly schedule as standard seller earnings.
- •Is exclusive to Founding Sellers — Standard Sellers do not earn commissions on their referrals.
- •Does not apply to sales made by the Founding Seller themselves.
VocalPresets.com reserves the right to modify or discontinue the network commission program for future referrals with 30 days' notice. Commissions already earned and pending payout at the time of any change will still be paid out.
Payout Schedule
All seller payouts are processed through Stripe Connect Express. You must complete Stripe's onboarding process before any payouts can be issued. As part of onboarding, you will be required to agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which governs your relationship with Stripe for payment processing and payouts. We never store your bank account details — all payout information is managed directly by Stripe.
- Frequency
- Weekly, processed every Monday.
- Minimum threshold
- $25 USD. If your balance is below $25, it rolls over to the following week automatically.
- Method
- Direct bank transfer via Stripe Connect Express.
- Currency
- USD. Stripe handles currency conversion for international sellers at their applicable exchange rate.
- Payout delays
- New seller accounts may be subject to a 7-day initial hold as required by Stripe. Stripe may also impose additional holds for risk management purposes.
Payouts for accounts under investigation for fraud, chargebacks, or Terms violations will be held pending resolution. Suspended accounts have all payouts held until the suspension is reviewed.
Refunds & Chargebacks
All refunds are handled in accordance with the VocalPresets.com Refund Policy. When a refund is issued for a purchase, the following applies to the Seller:
- •The Seller's share of the refunded sale is deducted from their next scheduled payout.
- •If the Seller's payout balance is insufficient to cover the deduction, the outstanding amount will be carried forward and deducted from future payouts until fully recovered.
- •Refunds initiated due to a technical issue on the platform (e.g., corrupted download, payment processing error) are absorbed by VocalPresets.com — the Seller's share is not affected.
Chargebacks
If a Buyer initiates a chargeback through their bank or card issuer, VocalPresets.com will contest the chargeback on your behalf where appropriate. If the chargeback is upheld, the Seller's share is deducted in the same manner as a refund. Repeated chargebacks tied to a Seller's products may result in account review or suspension under Section 12.
Content Standards
By submitting a preset for sale, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
- ✓All presets are your original work, or you hold all necessary rights and licenses to sell them.
- ✓The preset does not contain any audio samples, recordings, or sounds that infringe any third-party copyright.
- ✓You are not reselling presets you originally purchased from another creator or platform.
- ✓You have not repackaged content from a subscription service (e.g., Splice, Sounds.com) or any other source that does not permit resale.
- ✓Your preset listing accurately and honestly describes the contents of the ZIP file, including preset count, DAW, version, and required plugins.
Required Preset Assets
Every preset submitted for sale must include all of the following:
Accurate metadata
DAW name, DAW version, list of all required third-party plugins (with version numbers where relevant). Missing metadata is the most common rejection reason.
Cover art
Minimum 1000 × 1000 px, JPG or PNG, under 5 MB. Must be original artwork you own the rights to. No copyrighted imagery, no AI-generated art using copyrighted training data.
Audio demo
At least one audio demo showing the presets in use on a vocal. WAV or MP3, under 20 MB per file. A before/after demo is strongly recommended.
ZIP file contents
The ZIP must contain only preset files and a plain-text README. No executables, scripts, installers, or additional software of any kind.
Exclusivity
VocalPresets.com is a non-exclusive marketplace. You are free to sell the same presets on other platforms, your own website, or through any other channel, unless you have entered into a separate written exclusivity agreement with us.
If you choose to list the same preset on multiple platforms, you are solely responsible for maintaining consistent pricing, metadata, and content across all channels. VocalPresets.com is not responsible for pricing discrepancies or conflicts arising from multi-platform listings.
Platform License Grant
By listing content on VocalPresets.com, you grant Vocal Labs LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute the following materials solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and marketing the VocalPresets.com platform:
- •Preset listing name, description, and metadata.
- •Cover art and thumbnail images.
- •Audio demo files (including before/after previews).
- •Your seller display name, avatar, and public profile information.
This license allows us to feature your presets in email newsletters, social media posts, blog articles, paid advertisements, and on-site editorial placements. This license does not transfer ownership of your content — you retain all intellectual property rights.
This license remains in effect for as long as your content is listed on the platform. Upon delisting or account closure, the license terminates except as needed to fulfill existing Buyer purchases and to display historical sales data in your seller dashboard.
Use of Buyer Data
When a Buyer purchases your preset or bundle, we provide you with that Buyer's display name, email address, and the details of the purchase (e.g. product, date, amount) so you can fulfill the order, provide customer support, and participate in dispute resolution. This information is made available to you in your seller dashboard (e.g. sales history and customers workspace).
You may use Buyer information only for these platform-related purposes: order fulfillment, customer support, and dispute resolution. You must not use Buyer names, email addresses, or purchase data for your own marketing (e.g. adding Buyers to your personal mailing list), and you must not share, sell, or otherwise disclose this information to any third party. Violation of this section may result in account suspension or termination.
Review Process
Every preset submitted for sale is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Review is not automatic — each preset is manually checked.
Submission
You complete the preset upload form: files, cover art, audio demos, and all required metadata. Incomplete submissions will be returned immediately.
Review — 2–3 business days
Our team downloads and opens your ZIP, verifies file contents against your declared metadata, confirms all required plugins are listed, and listens to the audio demo.
Decision
You will receive an email with one of three outcomes: Approved (preset goes live immediately), Changes Requested (specific fixes listed — you can resubmit without losing queue position), or Rejected (preset does not meet our standards — reason provided).
Common rejection reasons: incorrect DAW version listed, missing required plugin list, cover art too small or using infringing imagery, audio demo not present or too short, ZIP contains non-preset files, or suspected stolen content.
Preset Versions
Sellers may upload updated versions of their presets at any time. Updated versions go through the same review process before they replace the current version in the catalog.
When a new version of a preset is approved and goes live:
- •All Buyers who previously purchased the preset automatically receive access to the new version at no additional charge.
- •The new version will be available for download from the Buyer's account page.
- •The previous version is no longer served — all future downloads will deliver the updated version.
Major updates (significant preset count changes, DAW changes) should be noted in the version changelog field so Buyers are informed of what changed.
Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate preset removal and may result in account suspension:
- ✗Stolen presets — content ripped from another creator's commercial product, unlicensed copies, or content you do not own.
- ✗Malware — ZIP files that contain executables, scripts, installers, or any software beyond preset files and a plain-text README.
- ✗Misleading descriptions — listings that materially misrepresent the preset contents, preset count, DAW compatibility, or required plugins.
- ✗Infringing cover art — copyrighted imagery used without a valid license.
- ✗Adult or obscene content — sexually explicit imagery or audio in cover art or demos.
- ✗Repackaged subscription content — content sourced from Splice, Sounds.com, or any service whose terms prohibit resale.
- ✗AI-generated presets misrepresented as human-made — if presets were generated by AI tooling, this must be disclosed in the description.
DMCA & Intellectual Property
By submitting a preset, you warrant that:
- ✓You own or have a valid license to all content in the preset, including presets, samples, cover art, and audio demos.
- ✓The preset does not infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right of any third party.
- ✓You have the right to grant Buyers the license described in the Terms of Service for their purchases.
VocalPresets.com complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice regarding your preset:
- We will immediately remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing preset.
- You will be notified and have 10 business days to file a counter-notice.
- If no counter-notice is filed, the preset is permanently removed.
- If a counter-notice is filed, the claimant has 14 business days to obtain a court order before the preset can be restored.
- Buyers retain download access to presets purchased before the notice, during the review period.
False DMCA Claims
Filing a false or bad-faith DMCA counter-notice constitutes perjury under US law. Additionally, submitting false DMCA takedown notices targeting other sellers will result in permanent account termination on VocalPresets.com.
A second confirmed DMCA infringement against your account will result in permanent account suspension.
Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate a seller account, with or without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
- •Second confirmed DMCA infringement.
- •Submitting stolen presets or deliberately misleading preset listings.
- •Fraudulent Stripe activity, including chargeback abuse or disputes tied to valid purchases.
- •Impersonating another creator or misrepresenting your identity.
- •Fake review manipulation — using alternate accounts, incentivized reviews, or any method to artificially inflate your preset ratings.
- •Any material violation of these Terms or the VocalPresets.com Terms of Service.
Upon suspension:
- •All live presets are immediately archived and hidden from the catalog.
- •Existing Buyers retain download access to presets purchased before the suspension.
- •All pending payouts are held pending review.
- •You will be notified by email with the reason for suspension.
You may appeal a suspension within 14 days by contacting support@vocalpresets.com. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days. Our decision on appeal is final.
Voluntary Delisting & Account Closure
You may delist individual presets or close your seller account at any time by contacting support@vocalpresets.com.
Delisting a Preset
- •The preset is removed from the catalog and is no longer available for new purchases.
- •Buyers who previously purchased the preset retain permanent download access.
- •Any pending payouts for sales of that preset are still paid out on the normal schedule.
Closing Your Seller Account
- •All live presets are delisted immediately.
- •Existing Buyers retain permanent download access to all previously purchased presets.
- •Any remaining payout balance above the $25 minimum threshold is paid out in the next scheduled payout cycle. Balances below the threshold are paid out as a final settlement.
- •Your seller profile page is removed from public view.
- •Account closure is permanent — if you wish to sell again in the future, you must submit a new seller application.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vocal Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- •Your breach of any representation, warranty, or obligation under this Agreement.
- •Any claim that your content (presets, cover art, audio demos, or any other material you submit) infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
- •Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- •Any dispute between you and a Buyer that is not caused by a platform malfunction.
This indemnification obligation survives termination of this Agreement and closure of your seller account.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- •VocalPresets.com is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- •In no event shall Vocal Labs LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
- •Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount of payouts actually paid to you by VocalPresets.com in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Tax & Legal Compliance
Stripe Connect collects the tax documentation required by applicable law. For US-based sellers, this includes W-9 information. For non-US sellers, the equivalent W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E form. Tax documentation is completed during Stripe onboarding.
VocalPresets.com will issue IRS Form 1099-K to US sellers who earn more than $600 in a calendar year, as required by law. This is generated automatically by Stripe.
Governing Law
This Agreement and any disputes arising out of or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware for resolution of any disputes not resolved by mutual agreement. Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@vocalpresets.com to attempt an informal resolution.
Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify active sellers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the seller platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your seller account by contacting support@vocalpresets.com.
