Affiliate Terms

The affiliate program is open to approved applicants who are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Applications are submitted at /affiliate/apply and are subject to review. We may approve, reject, or later revoke affiliate status at our discretion.

Affiliate status is a flag on your VocalPresets.com account. It stacks with any other role — you may be an artist, a seller, an affiliate, or all three on one account. There is no separate affiliate login.

The program may be paused or disabled operationally. If the program flag is off, new referral attribution will not be recorded even if a link still exists.

Commission is a percentage of eligible referred purchases and is taken from the platform's share of the sale — not from the seller's earnings. Sellers always receive their contracted revenue share of the list price.

Tiers are calculated from lifetime paid commission. Vocal Labs may temporarily override a tier in the admin tools; a later automatic recalculation can replace that override.

Eligible purchases are paid marketplace orders (presets and bundles) attributed to your referral. Free downloads, refunded sales, voided attributions, and self-referred transactions do not earn commission. Membership and credit-pack attribution, when recorded, follows the same self-referral and clawback rules.

Your unique referral link sets an HMAC-signed vp_ref cookie for 90 days. If a visitor completes an eligible paid purchase while that cookie is valid, the sale may be attributed to you.

If a visitor creates an account through your referral, we may also store a permanent referred_by association on that account so later eligible purchases can remain attributed after the cookie expires.

Attribution is first-party and last-cookie within the 90-day window as implemented by the platform. We do not promise last-click across other advertising networks, and we do not pay on traffic we cannot verify.

You may not earn commission on your own purchases or on sales of products you listed as a seller. We block self-referral in three ways:

• ✗Account match — the buyer is you.
• ✗Email match — a guest checkout email matches your affiliate account email.
• ✗Seller-of-product — you are the seller of the preset or bundle being bought.

Attempts to circumvent these blocks (alternate accounts, family cards used to self-deal, or similar) are grounds for termination and forfeiture of pending commission.

Commission is pending until paid. You may request a payout from the affiliate dashboard once pending commission reaches a $25 USD minimum and you have a Stripe account connected to receive funds. If you already connected Stripe as a seller, that account is reused — you do not onboard twice.

Payout requests are reviewed manually. Approved amounts are sent to your connected Stripe account. We may delay, split, or refuse a payout while we investigate suspected fraud, self-referral, or Terms violations.

If an attributed sale is refunded, chargebacked, or otherwise reversed, the related commission is reduced or voided. If that commission was already paid, the amount may be deducted from future payouts or, where Stripe allows, reversed.

Marketplace refunds follow the Refund Policy. Affiliate commission never reduces the seller's contracted share; clawbacks come from the affiliate earning, not from the seller payout.

You agree to promote VocalPresets.com honestly. The following is prohibited:

• ✗Misleading claims (guaranteed chart results, “sound exactly like” a named artist as a literal promise, fake scarcity).
• ✗Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or purchased comment/traffic schemes.
• ✗Bidding on VocalPresets, Vocal Labs, or confusingly similar trademarks as paid search keywords, or impersonating official ads.
• ✗Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or injecting the referral cookie without an intentional visit to your link.
• ✗Adult, hateful, or illegal promotional placements.
• ✗Using VocalPresets trademarks except to truthfully describe the program or products.

We may suspend or revoke affiliate status, deactivate links, and void pending commission for violations of these Terms, the Terms of Service, fraud, or abuse. You may stop participating at any time by contacting hello@vocalpresets.com. Unpaid pending commission below the payout minimum at termination may be forfeited if we cannot complete a lawful payout.

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Vocal Labs. You are responsible for your own taxes on commission. We do not withhold income tax unless required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, we will email active affiliates at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued participation after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using your affiliate links and contact us to close the program on your account.
